Hey there—welcome in!

STILL NOT SURE?

Frequently Asked Questions

Q01: What makes your hay different from what I can buy at the feed store?

Our hay is  USDA Organic Certified and verified Regenerative, which goes beyond traditional organic standards. We use regenerative farming practices that rebuild soil health, increase biodiversity, and capture carbon. This means your animals get hay that's richer in nutrients, free from synthetic chemicals, and grown in a way that actually heals the land. The Nutrition profiles of all of our products are made  available for our customers to support the optimization of their animal’s diets and to promote their over all health and well being,

Q02: Can I use the same hay blend for my horses, goats, and rabbits?

Yes and no! We offer two blends for a reason
Balanced Blend: Perfect for rabbits, goats, and horses with moderate activity levels. It's our everyday nutrition blend that supports digestion, dental health, and overall wellness.

Performance Blend: Supports horses in training, competition, or heavy work. It has higher protein and energy content to fuel athletic performance. It is the recommended product for lactating mothers and their young animals before reaching adulthood.

Q03: How do I know your hay is really organic and safe?

Great question! Our hay is produced on a farm that is certified organic by the USDA and verified regenerative by Regenified.

1. Grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers

2. Third-party tested and certified

3. Tracked from field to your stable/barn

4. Dust-free and respiratory-safe

You can actually request to see our certification documents and lab results. We have nothing to hide and everything to prove!

Q04: My horse has respiratory issues. Will your hay help?

Yes.. Respiratory problems in horses are often triggered by dusty, moldy hay. The regenerative farming methods and careful harvesting process result in hay that's naturally low-dust and mold-free.. Because our hay is grown in healthy soil without chemicals, it doesn't contain the irritants found in conventional hay.

Q5: Is this hay suitable for senior horses or horses with metabolic issues?

Yes! Our Balanced Blend is ideal for senior horses, easy keepers, and those with metabolic concerns like insulin resistance or Cushing's disease. The regenerative farming process creates hay with balanced sugar content and high fiber, perfect for maintaining healthy weight and stable blood sugar.

Q6: My rabbit is a picky eater. Will they actually eat this hay?

Here's the thing, rabbits don't reject quality hay, they reject boring, flavorless, dusty hay! Regenerative hay is fragrant, fresh, and actually tastes good. The rich soil creates hay with natural sweetness and a variety of textures that rabbits love. We offer a satisfaction guarantee, so if your rabbit truly won't eat it (rare!), we'll refund you.

Q7: How much hay should I feed my goats daily?

Goats need about 2-4% of their body weight in hay daily, depending on their size, age, and activity level. For an average 150 lb goat, that's roughly 3-6 lbs of hay per day. Our hay is nutrient-dense, so some goats actually eat slightly less volume while getting better nutrition. Start with your normal feeding amount and adjust based on body condition. The quality of our hay means you're feeding nutrition, not just filler.

Q8: How should I store the healthy hay blends once they arrive?

Keep your hay fresh and nutritious with proper storage:

1. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area (barn, shed, or covered area)

2. Keep off the ground using pallets or hay racks to prevent moisture

3. Protect from direct sunlight to preserve nutrients and color

4. Use within 6 months for peak freshness (though properly stored hay lasts longer)

5. Keep away from moisture sources to prevent mold
